Learn. Explore. Create. Repeat.
This is your summer to pick up the camera and see what happens. Three months of learning, exploring, creating — and looping it all back again. In the studio, out in the wild, and wherever your curiosity leads.

Whether you’re totally new to photography or you’ve been shooting for years, this isn’t just another class — it’s a creative journey in four-week cycles. Each month we pick a theme (think plants & flowers, urban shapes, reflections) and work through a rhythm:
Week 1 (Studio): We start close to home — light, subject, technique.
Week 2 (Excursion): We take it outside and shoot in a real environment.
Week 3 (Edit & Print): You choose your best shot and we help you turn it into a print.
Week 4 (Critique): We get together, share work, give feedback, and loop back into your next creative sprint.
The structure keeps things fresh and fun without being overwhelming.
Bring any camera: digital, film, phone — it’s all good here.
You’ll walk away with photos you’re proud of and the skills to keep making more.
Small group setting (max 7), so you’ll actually get attention and real feedback.
Mix of studio calm + outdoor adventure + hands-on editing = a complete creative loop.
Sessions run Fridays at 6 pm for 1 hour (some exceptions for the first month’s critique).
Location: Loop Art & Photo Space, 4/540 Mount Dandenong Tourist Rd, Olinda VIC.
Cost: Single sessions, monthly bundles, or full-series discounts available.
Who can join? Anyone. Beginners, hobbyists, seasoned shooters — all welcome.
What to bring: Your camera (or phone), your computer for editing, and your curiosity. For the first month: a 10–15 cm vase for the flowers session.
