You've always wanted to understand your camera. Not just point and hope — actually understand it.
Loop Photo School is an 8-week course for adults at the beginning of their photography journey. Over the term, you'll get hands-on with manual mode, learn to read light, develop your compositional eye, and start making photographs that feel intentional rather than accidental.
Sessions are held at Loop Art & Photo Space in Olinda — a relaxed, creative space where asking questions is encouraged and there's no such thing as a dumb shot. Every week has a clear focus, so you leave each session with something concrete you've actually learned.
This course is beased on a digital DSLR or a mirrorless camera. But the skills translate across all cameras.
What's included 8 x 50-minute sessions, one topic per week. Suited to complete beginners and those who've had a camera for a while but never quite cracked it.
